Donc il existe deux réels a et b tels que f(x) = ax+b pour tout x réel

f(2) = -5 signifie 2a+b = -5

f(4) = 5 signifie 4a+b = 5

Nous avons deux équations

(1) 2a+b = -5

(2) 4a+b = 5

(2) - (1) donne 4a+b-2a-b = 5-(-5)= 10

2a=10

donc a = 5

on remplace dans (1) ca fait 10+b=-5 donc b = -5 - 10 = -15

De ce fait f(x) = 5x-15
