    Explications :

    Lorsque l'on passe du discours direct au discours indirect ( discours passé )

    le présent devient prétérit

    is -------->  was

    know ------> knew

    le prétérit devient past perfect

    was not made ------> had not been made

    le présent perfect devient past perfect

    has been -------> had been

    attention aussi aux changements de pronom:

    " I have walked"----> he said that he had walked
